Papi and Spencer knew of one another in 1997 when Spencer visited So Africa to produce the music for Sidney Poitier and Michael Caine on the Emmy winning Showtime film, ‘ Mandela and deKlerk. At that time, Spencer learned of the iconic Blue Train (S.A.’s Orient Express train). Last year, Molotsane introduced Proffer to the folks at The Mandela Children’s Hospital in Johannesburg. As a friend to the hospital, Papi’s mission is to help them get exposed to potential opportunities around the globe. Bill and Melinda Gates, Hugh Jackman and General Electric are some of the Hospitals’ major fund contributors.

The Hospital’s desire is for Spencer to be their worldwide media strategist. M17 S.A. media partner, Marisa Torrani and her Cinevation company (http://www.meteor17.com/cinevation-sa) are currently developing a children’s animation enterprise in partnership with M17, modeled upon HBO’s hit, award winning Sunday night primetime series, ‘Happy Ever After’:Fairy Tales For Every Child’, Spencer served as the Music Director for the 5 year HBO run, while also co- writing, arranging and producing all the original songs that the featured stars performed..

A portion of the proceeds generated from the worldwide exploitation of the new media venture will go to benefit the hospital.

Papi has become a close friend, speaking to and working with Spencer regularly, as his cultural bridge to South African leaders in fields of commerce, politics and culture.

In 2007, as a result of his long time relationship with LeboM, Papi was highly instrumental in bringing the Disney live, stage production of the Lion King to South Africa.

With a distinguished business career, Papi Molotsane served as Chief Executive Officer of Telkom, South Africa (equivalent of AT+T here in the US). . Prior to joining Telkom, he was the Group Executive at Transnet, board member of Vodaphone and Chief Executive Officer of Fedics Food Services.

Papi has a Bachelor of Science in Business Services, a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Hood College in Maryland. He has also completed the prestigious Stanford Executive Program in Palo Alto, California


Today, Papi Molotsane serves as the Interim MD and CEO of an Australian Stock Exchange listed company, Resource Generation Limited (Resgen). He joined the board of Resgen in November 2015 as a Non Executive Director and was appointed in his present position in March 2018.
