Bethany has worked closely with Spencer for 13 years in various capacities, all anchored in her expertise of content distribution and strategy.  

Her comprehensive skill set goes beyond  global marketing, public relations, ad sales and sponsorship strategy - which she oversaw at Regal, AMC and Cinemark’s Fathom Events. She also did top level consulting for IMAX and PBS.  

Bethany is an accomplished entertainment marketing executive who has helped build audiences, revenue and brands through consumer and partnership marketing initiatives.  

She leads all global marketing and PR efforts for Meteor 17 across documentaries, film, home entertainment, digital, live events and book publishing.  Her oversight of Meteor 17’s marketing strategy encompasses its’ groundbreaking music documentaries and media productions as well as new business initiatives, all destined for significant organic, revenue growth.

For more than a decade, Bethany was a top member of the leadership team at Fathom Events, which she helped grow into an entertainment powerhouse.  FE is one of the top theatrical distributors in the U.S.   They dominate the event-cinema sector of entertainment. 

Equally adept at content and partnership marketing, Bethany led that arena encompassing consumers and trade for Fathom. She helped grow the company’s consumer base by more than 150%, heading up a 15-person team that delivered per-project and overall ROI of more than 35%.

Claypool skills have led her to work on projects with such iconic brand names as Disney, Paramount, Fox, NBCUniversal, Sony, AT&T, IMAX, AEG and others. She has overseen seven-figure sponsorship and partnership deals, and has worked directly with C-suite executives on a wide range of marketing and publicity initiatives.

Working side by side on M17 projects for years has enabled Bethany and Spencer to become close friends in the process.  

Their interchange is highlighted by successful Proffer productions for Fathom Events per Proffer’s deal there including the highly lauded, Faith based event entitled PATTERNS OF EVIDENCE (https://www.meteor17.com/patterns-of-evidence) which sold out over 708 top theaters in the US over 2 nights.  They are equally proud of successful and sold out events for the anniversary of the Elvis Comeback Special (https://www.meteor17.com/elvis-comeback-theater-event) - 2382 theaters in 32 countries around the globe. There were over 227,450 tickets sold for that one event. Spencer produced and Bethany led the marketing on high profile events for Lionel Richie (https://www.meteor17.com/lionel-richie-glastonbury-theater) , Diana Ross ( https://www.meteor17.com/diana-ross-diamond-diana) and Lynyrd Skynyrd (https://www.meteor17.com/lynyrd-skynyrd-farewell-tour-event) amongst others.
