Bios Tommy Nast of Rock Band Entertainment (view site)
Tommy Nast boasts a wide-ranging stellar career in the music industry. Before joining Craig Lambert in the foundation of Rock Band Entertainment, Tommy served as Executive Vice President /Business Development for CenterStaging Musical Productions, Inc., and rehearsals.com. There, Mr. Nast was integral in putting partnerships in place with numerous media companies, and was responsible for securing talent such as Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, and many more. He previously served as EVP Business Development for AEG Live, where he was an instrumental leader in the launch of Network Live, where he produced the global radio broadcast of the historic and landmark Live 8 concert, among many other special events. Earlier, Nast held the positions of Executive Vice President of Music & Media for the Clear Channel Multimedia Group, and as Executive Vice President /General Manager of SFX Entertainment, Inc. From 1982 to 2002, Nast led The Album Network’s ascent to becoming the music industry’s leading trade publication for rock music. The company also spawned a syndication arm, which produced over 200 special event worldwide radio broadcasts, and was acknowledged as the #1 source for syndicated rock programming. Artists whom Nast has worked with over the years include: Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Quiet Riot, Melissa Etheridge, Bryan Adams, Michael Bolton, Alice N’ Chains, Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, Backstreet Boys, WASP, Night Ranger, Bruce Hornsby, The Outlaws, Brian Setzer, Vince Neil, Damn Yankees, and the list goes on.
