Meteor 17 is partnered with Dick Clark Productions (www.dickclarkproductions.com) in creating a prime time television game show entitled ROCK TEST. RT is a classic style television show with a twist in that it is entirely based on rock and roll. Questions and challenges will all have a rock music theme requiring knowledge of rock music - past and present. Classic and current masters and videos will come from the vast EMI Capitol catalog which includes such superstars as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Beach Boys, Bob Segar, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Queen, Radio Head, Duran Duran and many others. With the recent resurgence of classic rock to a new generation, this series will appeal to a wide demographic, from teens to boomers. Spencer Proffer and DCP CEO Orly Adelson will serve as Executive Producers of the series, with Meteor 17’s Steve Plunkett in a Co- Executive Producer role.
